Providing Warmth to Maine Families

Freeport Wood Bank provides free firewood to Maine families who heat their homes with wood but struggle to afford it. Serving Freeport and surrounding areas, we are a community-driven organization that brings together local volunteers and donors to ensure no family faces the winter without heat. Heating your home shouldn’t mean sacrificing other basic needs like groceries or gas, and we are here to help.

All requests are processed by local Heating Assistance Programs and the Freeport Wood Bank receives referrals. If you would like a wood delivery, please click on the link below or contact your local Assistance service
